A couple weeks ago, I decided to reach out to a photography group on facebook and see if anyone would be interested in connecting with me. Mercy was one of the sweet ladies that messaged me back, and I was so excited to meet her!
Mercy has been a photographer for quite a while (check out her work here). She is from Fort Worth, one of 9 kids (hello awesome family get-togethers!), and is one of the nicest people ever. She is kind, encouraging, and soft-spoken, which made my fellow introverted heart so happy. We talked about family, photography, marriage, and all the little things in between.
The last few minutes of our meeting was spent snapping some shots of each other (full disclosure: it was pretty intimidating to take another photographer's photo!). Cheers to new friends and stretching comfort zones!
